Living out of a Suitcase

ok so i dont know fi it’s weird to post about someone else’s blog on your own blog *im still getting the hang of this* but I was reading glamour magazine and they had a whole section on fashion bloggers and how they would style outfits with jeans.  they all were incredible so I decided to check some of them out online and this one particularly caught my eye primarily because it wasn’t just about fashion but also about food and interior design.  i’ve probably just spent the whole day at work just looking at her outfits and recipes (it’s such at tease back a) im broke and b) im hungry lol) but i am in LOVE with it! :) check it ouuttt

hi hi hii :)
so I have not written in a LONG time…for a while I forgot I even had a tumblr, twitter, or any other social networking outlet besides facebook LOL, and a lot has changed in the past four months.  So I have decided to spend a full year abroad, because I realized something about myself…I am constantly moving.  I HATE UNPACKING, especially when I come back to Chicago because I do not see the point in it.  I have this weird habit of getting home, throwing all my clothes on the floor, washing them, (maybe) folding them, let them sort of sit on my desk, and then put them back in my suitcase (my parents hate this).  I feel like when people ask me where I live, it’s always somewhere random (as hell) for example: now, I live in West Virginia…all my things are here, and I am working here for the summer (CHECK IT OUUUT: http://www.catf.org/, Contemporary American Theater Festival, it’s phenomenal :))….two weeks ago I was in Chitown basically visiting my mom and friends, but as my friends and i are getting older we’re branching out and leaving chicago, which is SO WEIRD but awesome at the same time because I guess it means we’re growing up :), a little over a month ago I lived in Florence, Italy which was the most incredible experience ever (i miss it terribly), and then about 6 months ago I lived in NYC.  So…where do I live? Well…
While I was in Chicago a couple of weeks ago I spent most of my time cleaning out my closest and desk…it was a disaster.  Imagine re-living senior year of high school in a course of a week; i had textbooks, workbooks, papers, clothing, and shoes that i have not worn/use and will not ever wear/use again just stuffed in my closest and it made me realize that almost everything I need/use I always have with me wherever I go.  Cleaning out my room made me think of a time where Chicago was the ONLY place that felt like home to me, but I get that feeling in many places now, which is different but awesome :).
Because of my constant moving I like to think of myself as someone who lives out of a suitcase, and I wouldn’t have it any other way :).

Dear parents,
Jasmine was in a relationship with a dirty homeless boy named Aladdin. Snow White lived alone with 7 men. Pinnochio was a liar. Robin Hood was a thief. Tarzan walked around without clothes on. A stranger kissed sleeping beauty and she married him. Cinderella lied and snuck out at night to attend a party.
Sincerely, it’s not our fault, it’s how you raised us
